The Sunday Times will this weekend launch its first special supplement listing Britain’s top 100 restaurants.
The 32-page supplement is the result of a joint venture between The Sunday Times and UK restaurants guide publisher Harden’s.
The Food List: Britain’s Top 100 Restaurants, claims to be based solely on the quality of food in each establishment and has been compiled by taking votes from 8,000 customers across the country.
Charlie Newbery, senior marketing manager for The Sunday Times, said: “The paper is renowned for our annual lists.
“The Rich List in particular has become an event in the media calendar with huge press interest and a substantial uplift in sales.
“We firmly believe The Food List: Britain’s Top 100 Restaurants will mirror this success. It echoes all the core values of the paper and will undoubtedly be of interest to existing and potential readers.”
The launch will be supported by a radio advertising campaign and will also be published online from 4pm on Saturday at thesundaytimes.co.uk/foodlist.
